About

JoAnna Luna focuses her legal practice on complex technology and licensing transactions, data privacy, information security and artificial intelligence, software due diligence, trademarks, and international IP protection. She is also experienced in working family-based and business immigration cases. Before joining Omnus Law, JoAnna was Senior Counsel at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), handling complex, cross-border commercial and technology-related matters, digital transformation in marine and offshore, creating bespoke agreements for novel technology implementations, and managing the IP portfolio. JoAnna began her career at Claro & Cia in Santiago, Chile, gaining significant experience in national-phase patent and trademark prosecutions, trademark litigation, and domain name dispute resolution. JoAnna also serves as an adjunct professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, teaching Information Security and the Law.
