His practice focuses on corporate law, contract negotiations, criminal defense, technology agreements, corporate governance and risk management, with extensive expertise in data security, regulatory compliance, including GDPR, HIPAA, the Safeguards Rule, IRS 1075 and FINRA.
David’s career highlights include serving as Chief Legal Officer at AccessData Group, where he drove the company’s evolution into a market leader in Legal GRC, Senior Legal Counsel at InContact, Inc. “NICE,” negotiating all Federal and State government technology licensing and compliance programs and General Counsel/incorporator of FusionIO which went IPO in 2011 for 1.6B. He continues to “Sharpen the Saw” as a litigator, appearing in civil and criminal matters, representing individuals and corporate entities in Utah’s federal and state courts. His proven ability to navigate complex litigation challenges, commercial transactions and lead strategic mergers and acquisitions underscores his commitment to delivering innovative legal solutions for a wide variety of clients.
